The points were shared at the treth on a beautiful day, the match being played on a excellent surface.
Both respective managers are in the process of rebuilding their squads and overall a draw was a fair result. Caersws started well and after 6 minuets Eddie Morris Jones released Matt Prosser who shot narrowly wide and 2 minutes later Prosser went close after Lee Jenkins threaded a superb ball through to him.
On 20 minutes Gareth Parry shot over 20 yards over from the home team.
Caersws still looked the more likely side to score on 23 minutes Morris Jones turned superbly and shot at the home keeper Richard Morgan who held his low effect. Caersw keeper Dave Jones was forced into action , 2 minutes later holding central defender Ryan Davies�s header following a cross from the right.
On the half an hour , Jones saved superbly from the dangerous Mark Evans turning his low effort into a corner. Half time arrived with scores tied.

Caersws deservedly took the lead in the 50th minute when Geraint Lewis drilled an effort beyond Morgan from 15 yards fer Caersws first league goal of the season. On 53 minutes Morris Jones saw a low effort saved by Morgan but the sustained an injury to be subsituted by Chris Melia on the hour. After 65 minuets Kevin Davies cross from the left saw Prossers header held.
Porth equalised in the 66th minute when poor defending allowed the prolific Paul Roberts to net from the edge of the box following a right wing free kick. The hardworking Melia shot over from 15 yards in the 72nd minute and 2 minutes later Morgan in the home goal produced a superlative save tipping over Garth Mansells blockbuster from 18n yards. The game ended with both Mangers reasonably happy with the Bluebirds obtaining a valuable way point.
