Caersws 1 - 5 Prestatyn town

Caersws were comfortably defeated by big spenders Prestatyn , where once again defensive mistakes and lack of fire power up front cost the Bluebirds dearly.
As early as the second minute home keeper Dave Jones had to be at his best , pulling off a superlative double to save to deny Andy Moran and Alec Williams . After 4 minutes Mat Prosser saw a 10 yard shot saved by Jon Hill Dunt and Geraint Lewis saw an 18 yard effort wide on the left fly narrowly wide 8 minute later.
Prestatyn took the lead in the 15 minute when Moran linked up with Michael Parker who beat Jones low down from 10 yards, giving the keeper no chance.
Despite conceding the early goal Caersws looked capable of getting back into the game with the returning Andy Davies having a effort blocked by by Hill Dunt and Prosser heading wide in the 19 minutes. Dunt and Prosser heading wide on 19 minutes .After 24 minutes Ian Griffiths shot wide from the visitors. Hill Dunt did well to hold Lee Jenkins cross from under pressure from Prosser after 37 minutes an the interval arrived with the game evenly poised.
Caersws opened up the 2nd period strongly and Eddie Maurice -Jones shot wide after 47 minutes ,Howe ever Town increased their lead I 57th minute when unmarked Dave Hayes headed beyond Jones from close range . A minute later , the villagers were back in the game when Lewis volleyed home from Graham Jones right wing cross.
Caersws then penned back the visitor but once again poor marking saw Andy Moran shot home at the 58th minute.
The goal demoralised the Bluebirds who completely lost their shape an din the 75th minute Parker found space and around keeper Jones before netting Prestatyns fourth.
With Caersws at sixes and sevens Prestatyn had further chances and 4 minutes before the final whistle sub Russ Jones netted the fifth to delight of the vociferous travelling seaside�s.
