>br>Two sloppy goals concede cost Caersws dearly at Maes Tegid. The bluebirds more than matched their hosts in all aspects of play, but two early goals by Ricky Evans sealed the win for the Lakersiders.
After 4 mins Phil Jones shot wide from 16 yards for the Bluebirds and 2 mins later home keeper Leon Bimpson forced a excellent save diverting Mathew Prosser�s header for a cross from the right.
Bala took the lead in the 8th minute when Warren Duckett cross from the right found an unmarked Ricky Evans who had the simple task of heading beyond Dave Jones from a close range. 2 mins later Bala doubled their advantage when a bad clearance by Dave Jones fell to Evans who coolly scored into an unguarded net from near the half way line. On the half hour Mathew Holt sent a header wide from Phil Jones corner , Caersws worked their into the game and in the 37 min Lee Genkins shot over from 18yds. A minute before the interval Owain Roberts saw his efforts held by Dave Jones and on 45mins Andy Davies� shot clipped the bar.
For the bluebirds The second half saw Caersws dominate proceedings with Bala having to defend deeper and deeper. On 55mins, keeper Bimpson saved well at the near post from Mark Griffiths. After 70mins in a rare Bala attack Owain Roberts� header was held by keeper Jones following Ricky Evans� free kick. The introduction of Caersws subs Chris Melia and Jacob Smith added more pace into the attack and melia went close after being set up by Graham Jones after 72mins. Bimpson then came to the rescue of Bala brilliantly saving low down from a Matthew Holt header and the denying Mark Griffiths with a superb block. In the space of minutes with Caersws Pushing forward in search of goals Jacob smith also saw his shot saved and five minutes before the final whistle Geraint Lewis saw his shot and deflected for a corner.

Despite showing grit and some excellent play throughout the game, the Bluebirds cannot afford to conceed early goals, which makes it very difficult to get back into the game.
